Caique Ferreira is a producer and social scientist with experience in independent and high-impact distribution, international festivals, laboratories and arthouse cinema projects. Currently, as production director at CUP Filmes, in São Paulo, he worked on the series Notícias Populares (Globo Play/Canal Brasil) and the feature films A Mãe (2022) and Baby (awarded at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes 2024).

Fernanda de Capua

Fernanda De Capua created and directed the sitcom Insustentáveis, wrote the screenplays for the series A História Delas and Turma da Mônica – Origens, and the feature films A Suspeita and Virtuosas. She was a consultant for the scripts for Saudade Fez Morada Aqui Dentro, Gabriel e a Montanha, and for more than 20 projects in the Prodav 04 labs. Among her achievements as a producer, the films Sonhos de Peixe, Casa Grande and Quem Matou Eloá stand out.

Flavia Candida

Flavia Candida is a curator, filmmaker, and producer who graduated from the Cinema course at UFF (Federal Fluminense University), where she directed the short film O Metro Quadrado, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 35th Brasília Film Festival.

She began as a programmer in the late 1990s at Cine Arte UFF and coordinated the Brazilian University Film Festival for over 15 years.

She collaborates in the curation of festivals such as the Rio Film Festival, Vitória Film Festival, Brasília Film Festival, Zózimo Bulbul Black Cinema Meeting, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, and Mate Com Angu Festival. She also curated the Cabíria Festival Mulheres & Audiovisual and FIMCine 23, both dedicated to female protagonism.

She has produced exhibitions such as Arte da África Cinema and Pequenas Histórias da Vanguarda – Downtown New York. She selects projects for labs such as BrLab, ICUMAM Lab, and the Curta Cinema Project Lab, and was a tutor at Roteiros do Arrabalde. She was on the selection committee for the Göteborg Film Fund 2021.

Giovani Barros

Giovani Barros is a director and casting producer. He has directed short films that have been screened at several national and international festivals. His latest short film, Carne Fresca, won best short film at the Rio Film Festival, within the Première Brasil Novos Rumos section. He works as an assistant director on feature films and also as a casting producer for films, series, and soap operas. He has been a member of selection committees for the Espírito Santo State Department of Culture (SECULT-ES), Riofilme, and the curatorial team of the São Paulo International Short Film Festival.

Marcio Miranda Perez

Programming coordinator for Kinoforum – São Paulo International Short Film Festival and Mix Brasil Festival. As a filmmaker and editor, his work has been screened and awarded in Brazil and internationally. He holds a degree in Cinema from ECA-USP and has also served as a juror on selection and award committees, representing Kinoforum at various events in Brazil, France, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

Marina Tarabay

Rafael Sampaio

Rafael Sampaio is a producer, curator and founder of the production company Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual. He has produced and co-produced films, including Diz a Ela que me Viu Chorar (2019), directed by Maíra Bühler; Fiebre (2022), directed by Elisa Eliash; Zafari (2024), directed by Mariana Rondón; Sobre Rodas (2017), directed by Mauro D’Addio; Contactado (2020), directed by Marité Ugás; among others. He is the creator and director of BrLab, which he has led since 2011, and he also coordinates other training and project development initiatives, collaborating with festivals, funds and institutions in Brazil and internationally.

Talita Arruda

She works for Fistaile, a company that promotes the encounter between audiences and audiovisual projects. She collaborates with spaces such as Lab Negras Narrativas, Sessão Vitrine Petrobras, Locarno Industry Academy, BrLab, El Público del Futuro and EFM Toolbox (Berlinale). She is a member of APAN, Andai and ABPA.

Xenia Rivery

Screenwriter, consultant and teacher. She was coordinator and head of the Screenwriting Department at EITCV – Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba. She coordinated the International Screenwriting Workshop (Havana Film Festival). She develops and teaches workshops in Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Panama, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. She works as a speaker and judge at Latin American and European events and festivals, and is a founding member of the creative collective Viceversa.

Albertina Carri

Albertina Carri is a crucial figure in Latin American cinema. She directed the films No Quiero Volver a Casa, Los Rubios, Géminis, La Rabia, Cuatreros, Las Hijas del Fuego and ¡Caigan las Rosas Blancas! She and her films have participated in festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Rotterdam, San Sebastian, Toronto and Venice.

Giancarlo Nasi

Film producer, founder and former president of the Chilean Academy of Cinematographic Arts and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He has specialized in international co-productions, working with 15 countries on more than 20 films. Among his most notable productions are Land and Shade, The Settlers, The Blue Trail, and, most recently, The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo.

Iana Cossoy Paro

Iana Cossoy Paro is a screenwriter, professor and consultant. She directs the master’s program and screenwriting residency at the EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cinema y Televisión), in Cuba. Among her works are the screenplays for the films Eneida (2022), written with Heloisa Passos and Tina Hardy, Three Summers (2019), written with Sandra Kogut, and Eu Te Levo (2017), written with Marcelo Muller. She holds a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Media and Processes from ECA-USP (University of São Paulo) and works with different labs and schools throughout Latin America.

Paula Astorga

An international consultant for audiovisual projects in development and exhibition, she received the title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government in 2012 for her work in audiovisual culture. Her recent productions include Trigal (Dir. Anabel Caso, 2022) and the documentary Me niego rotundamente (Dir. Nina Wara Carrasco, 2025). She is the director and founder of the Audiences of the Future Seminar and the Circo 2.12 Documentation Center.

Tatiana Leite

Tatiana Leite is a film programmer and producer committed to auteurist cinema and specialized in working on international co-productions. She created the production company Bubbles Project after a decade of curating festivals and film series. The feature films that she has produced include Benzinho, Malu and O Riso e a Faca. She acts as an expert on behalf of Locarno Open Doors, CineMart, Full Circle Lab and BrLab. She works as a LATAM coordinator for EAVE and serves as a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Oscars).

Fernando Epstein

Co-founder of the production companies Control Z Films, Mutante Cine and Guay Films. Currently teaches Editing at the Film School of the Uruguayan Catholic University (Universidad Católica del Uruguay). Was a member of the directorship of the Film and Audiovisual Agency of Uruguay (ACAU) from 2021 to 2024, through which he acted as a representative of the audiovisual sector. Has served as a member of the Producers’ branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars) since 2021.

Karen Akerman

Karen Akerman works across a wide range of audiovisual genres and formats – fiction and documentary, narrative and experimental cinema, feature films, series and short films – primarily as an editor, but also as a director, producer, consultant and teacher. Currently, she is editing the films Nova Eden, directed and produced by Aly Muritiba; and Raiou Liberdade, directed by Joana Pimenta and produced by Adirley Queirós; and is preparing to co-direct her first fiction feature film, Zumbido, with Miguel Seabra Lopes.

Lidia Damatto

Lidia Damatto graduated in Cinema from the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), and also studied screenwriting and entertainment at UCLA (USA) and new distribution models at DFFB (Germany), in addition to having participated in the training programs Locarno Industry Academy and Berlinale Talents. She worked in development at the American production company Ambush Entertainment in Los Angeles and at film festivals, coordinating the first edition of Ambulante California and managing the programming of the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival. Between 2015 and 2020, she worked as a sales and acquisitions manager at the American agency FiGa Films, also serving as a consultant in pitching, development and production laboratories. She is currently part of the team at O2 Play, a distributor part of the O2 Filmes group, managing the sale of Brazilian productions in the international market and the purchase of foreign productions for release in Brazil. She also co-founded and is a partner in the international consulting and representation company MoreThan, based in Barcelona.

Gabor Greiner

Gabor Greiner served as distribution manager for the European Commission’s MEDIA Programme and worked as an acquisitions executive at The Match Factory. He currently heads acquisitions at Films Boutique, a company whose films have won top prizes in Berlin and Venice. He is a member of the European Film Academy and collaborates with TorinoFilmLab and EAVE.

Janaina Oliveira

Researcher and curator, Janaína Oliveira holds a PhD in History, is a professor at IFRJ (Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro), and was a Fulbright Scholar at the Center for African Studies at Howard University in Washington D.C., USA. Since 2009, she has been researching black and African cinemas, and has also worked as a consultant, jury member, and panelist at several film festivals and exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. In 2019, she held the exhibition “Soul in the eye: Zózimo Bulbul’s legacy and the Contemporary Black Brazilian Cinema” at the IFFR – International Film Festival Rotterdam. She was also a consultant for films from Africa and the black diaspora for the Locarno International Film Festival (2019-2020). She is currently the curator of the Encontro de Cinema Negro Zózimo Bulbul (RJ), FINCAR (Festival Internacional de Realizadoras / PE), and the Baobácine Mostra de Filmes Africanos de Recife. She is a member of APAN (Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals). She is the creator and coordinator of FICINE, the Itinerant Forum of Black Cinema, and was the programmer of the Flaherty Film Seminar (New York) in July 2021.

José Agripino

José Agripino is a director, screenwriter and audiovisual producer, with a degree in Audiovisual from Senac. He worked for three years as a producer for In-Edit – International Music Documentary Festival, and currently works as a digital communications strategist for film and television. He was co-responsible for the online promotion strategy for the release of the films Hoje eu quero voltar sozinho, by Daniel Ribeiro, and O mercado de notícias, by Jorge Furtado. He directed the short films Poliamor and Leve-me pra sair, which together were seen by more than 1.2 million people on the web. He is currently part of Lumika, a content production collective for young audiences.

Justin Pechberty

Justin Pechberty co-founded Les Valseurs with Damien Megherbi in 2013. His most recent projects include the TV series Samuel, by Emilie Tronche; the feature films Heartless, by Nara Normande and Tião (Venice 2023); and the film The Animal’s Christmas (Annecy 2024). In 2023, Justin and Damien founded the animation studio PULP. Justin is a member of the Board of the César Awards and the Academy Awards.

Letícia Friedrich is a producer and distributor. As a producer, she produced the award-winning short film Chão de Fábrica, by Nina Kopko, and the feature film Amor, Plástico e Barulho, by Renata Pinheiro. As a distributor, she coordinated the release of more than 30 feature films, including Sem Coração, by Nara Normante, A Hora da Estrela (4K), by Suzana Amaral, and Histórias que o Nosso Cinema (não) Contava, by Fernanda Pessoa.

Since 2014, he has been collaborating with different distributors, such as Pandora Filmes, Vitrine Filmes, Elo Company and Boulevard Filmes, including relevant projects such as The Square – a arte da discordia, by Ruben Östlund, and Em Chamas, by Lee Chang-dong. He graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual from UFPE / Université Rennes II (Brazil/France) and has a master’s degree in Social Communication from UFMG.
