BrLab promotes various activities open to the public – such as meetings, film screenings, and talks – which are held in person and also made available online, thus stimulating the democratization and accessibility of the event.

The program is held completely free of charge, and the recordings of the panels with LIBRAS interpretation are made available online for everyone with access to BrLab’s YouTube channel.

Currently, BrLab features in its open program:

• BrLab CoPro – an international co-production meeting for Ibero-American projects whose teams are interested in international co-production.
• BrPlot – Screenwriters’ Meeting – a program pillar that promotes panels, talks, and discussions open to the public by focusing on screenwriting and writing for audiovisual media and on the screenwriters’ market in Brazil and the Iberian Peninsula.
• Reach – Questions of Audience – a program pillar that promotes panels, talks, and discussions open to the public which are focused on reflecting on the impact of innovative technologies and experiences on the circulation, distribution, and audience design of audiovisual projects.
• BrLab Film Showcase – a film showcase in celebration of BrLab‘s 15th anniversary, which will bring together a curated selection of films that have participated in the different workshops of BrLab in recent years, including special screenings with talkbacks open to the public that will be held in different venues and cities throughout Brazil.
