The company’s main focuses are in the areas of event production and production and distribution of audiovisual content. In 2019, he brings the film “Dos Fridas”, a co-production from Mexico and Costa-Rica, directed by Ishtar Yasin, to the international competitive showcase of feature films at the 47th Gramado International Film Festival. In the same year, he produced the short film, “What Can a Body?”, directed by Victor Di Marco and Márcio Picoli. The film premiered at the 31st Curta Kinoforum, participated in the 48th Gramado Film Festival and won more than 20 awards at the main festivals in Brazil, such as best film and best direction at CinePE. Nominated for the 2021 Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix and the Guarani Prize. Still in 2019, he made the short film “Val”, directed by Zé Luís Valim and coordinated the finalization of the feature film “Trinta Povos”, directed by Zeca Brito. The film had its international premiere at the 23rd Punta del Este International Film Festival in February 2020 and its national premiere on Canal Curta! in June of the same year. The producer also made the short film “Possa Poder”, also directed by the duo Victor and Márcio. It premiered at the 25th Tiradentes Exhibition and is currently touring the festival circuit. This year, “Proa” makes three music videos for independent musicians from the interior of Rio Grande do Sul and continues to look for new challenges. The producer provided services: As production director of the short film Void, directed by Ane Siderman and produced by Paper Birds Productions. As a production assistant on the Centro Liberdade Series, by Bruno Carvalho, Cleverton Borges and Lívia Ruas, a production by Prana Filmes and currently performs the same role on the feature film “Jepotá”, directed by Augusto Canani and Papá Guarani, a production by Prana Filmes in partnership with WRI.
BALDE DE TINTA FILMES is an audiovisual production company gaúcha, with the core of his works in the diversity of bodies and corporeality. In advertising, they work with internal marketing campaigns for brands such as Dakota, Kolosh and Hercosul, designing, capturing and finalizing the product. His film catalog includes the award-winning short films “What Can a Body?” (2020) and “Possa Poder” (2022), both on the theme of diversity and bodies with disabilities. His films reached the main and most important film festivals in Brazil and the world, accumulating more than 30 awards. Among them are Curta Kinoforum, Festival de Gramado, Mix Brasil, Curta Cinema, Santa Barbara International Film Festival (USA), Toronto Queer Film Festival (Canada), Wicked Queer (USA), among others. In 2021, they were nominated for the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix in the best short documentary category with the short “O que Pode um Corpo?”. The producer also has on its CV participation in two of the most important script development laboratories in the country, with its feature film project Nós a Sós. They were finalists at FRAPA, the largest screenwriting festival in Latin America, and at Curtiba_lab, within the Curitiba International Festival.
