Workshops

BrLab promotes different workshops within its program, which are geared towards project development, audience design, and film editing. In the 2026 edition, there will also be workshops for projects aimed at children and youth audiences and for audience development.

BrLab currently holds the following workshops:

• BrLab Features – aimed at the development of selected fiction projects through open submissions from all of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.
• BrLab Audience Design – focused on audience design and strategizing for projects selected through open submissions from all of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.
• BrLab Rough Cut – for films currently in their editing process, which are selected through a submissions process that is open to all of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.
• BrLab Kids: Possible Futures – a lab created in 2025 for projects aimed at children and youth and for audience development, to be held in the city of Recife.
