The dry wind and low humidity dry out the skin of Catalão residents. Sandro (54) works at the mining company Coopebrás and regularly has sex with his colleague Ricardo (38), at the end of the day, among the eucalyptus trees that surround the mining company. On Wednesdays, Sandro swims in the only pool in the city. It was by the pool that he met Maicon (28). Sandro desires Maicon, but their eyes never meet. When Maicon starts working as a security guard at Coopebrás, Sandro’s desire for Maicon becomes an obsession, until Sandro discovers that Ricardo and Maicon are having an affair. When the last winds of July sway the green leaves of the eucalyptus trees, Sandro, with a dagger in hand, follows the two lovers into the forest.
