Haver Filmes

Established ten years ago in Curitiba, Haver Filmes produced 10 short films and a feature film, as well as 5 music videos and 5 cinema shows. He showed his films at important festivals such as: Turin Festival in Italy, Cartagena de Indias Film Festival in Colombia, Guanajuato Festival in Mexico, Tiradentes Film Festival and Olhar de Cinema Int’ Film Festival. Highlight is the documentary Soy, awarded at IDFA 2017. Furthermore, the company participated in the events: “Filmes em Progress” session at the Market Meetings at the Olhar de Cinema Festival; DOC-SP Business Round, IDFAcademy 2017 and 1st China Pitch. He is developing his first fiction feature film – Valsa de Lui, awarded by the FSA and selected for the 3 Puertos Cine laboratory. It is managed by Cássio Kelm, who graduated in Fiction Directing at EICTV in Cuba. www.haverfilmes.com.br Latest work: Production of the documentary “Perto de Você”, covered by the Fundación Cultural de Curitiba’s public notice, through the Aldir Blanc Law. Production of the short documentary “Meia Lua Falciforme”, financed by Selo Fiocruz, winner of the Jury Highlight Prize at the Olhar de Cinema Festival, Mirada Paranaense session. Production of the feature-length documentary “Mães do Derick”, which premiered in January 2020 at Mostra de Tiradentes, and had its international premiere at the Torino Festival, in Italy. Winner of Honorable Mention at the Mix Brasil Festival.

GRAFO AUDIOVISUAL Driven by the desire to build, disseminate and affirm original Brazilian content, Grafo creates and produces audiovisual productions for all platforms. Grafo Audiovisual produced the films: Deserto Particular (Audience Award at Giornate degli Autori Veneza, Brazilian Oscar nominee), Ferrugem (Sundance – USA, Best Film Gramado Festival), For My Dead Beloved (7 awards Brasília Festival, Silver Zenith in Montreal – Canada, San Sebastian – Spain), Jesus Kid (3 awards in Gramado), Circular (Rio Festival), A gente (UN Award at Dok Leipzig – Germany), Arid Zone (Special Mention at Dok Leizpig – Germany), The same part of a man (Helena Ignez Award at the Tiradentes Exhibition), Jesus Kid (Gramado), Pátio (Cannes – France), The Parking Lot (Best Short Film in Rio), The Factory (Oscar shortlist, Special Mention Clermont Ferrand – France), Just Yesterday (Clermont Ferrand – France), Tarantula (Venice – Italy). He produced the Portugal-Brazil-Mozambique co-production Avó Dezenove e o Segredo do Soviético and the feature film Nunca Nada Happened (Portugal-Belgium-Brazil). He is currently finishing a short and two feature films, as well as preparing the recordings of a children’s series. In total, the productions carried out reached 5 continents through more than 300 festivals and 200 awards. And they also sold to more than 30 countries in America, Europe and Asia. It also organizes the Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba International Festival founded in 2012 and today one of the main film festivals in Latin America.
