Marina, 30 years old, former diving athlete, suffers from a terrible ringing in her ears that affects her physical and emotional balance. Retired from professional competitions after an accident, she decides to return to compete in search of an Olympic medal, even though it puts her life at risk. To achieve her goal and defeat her younger opponents, Marina needs to regain confidence in her own body, overcome her fear of the platform and overcome her biggest enemy: the tinnitus that terrifies her. Tinnitus is interested in narrating how the force of noise pollution and urban noise, these invisible monsters, can affect Marina’s life. The film proposes an innovative portrait that, in addition to revealing this dark symphony of the metropolis, proposes a different approach to one of the most visually attractive and still little explored Olympic sports in cinema.
