Sahar is a young Iranian woman who was physically punished and banished from Iran after having an extramarital relationship. She goes to São Paulo to restart her life in a libertarian but also violent society. In Brazil, Sahar finds love, freedom and new forms of oppression and machismo.

Production company based in São Paulo, since 2006. Among its productions are Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho, which premiered at the 64th Berlinale, and received the Fipresci and the Teddy Award. The film was also Brazil’s official entry for the 2015 Oscars; and The Two Irenes, which was launched at the 67th Berlinale.
