To build his most ambitious building, Sérgio, a 55-year-old architect, needs to take over the power of his family’s construction company. To this end, he devises a secret plan that depends on the inheritance of his father Heitor, owner of the company and in a terminal condition, to come to fruition. But, on his way, Sérgio discovers that Heitor had a second family with Suzana, a stranger who, by law, owns half of his father’s assets. Thus begins an obsessive and revealing search for Heitor’s past, something that could deconstruct Sérgio and his dream.

The following are part of the curriculum: “Political Animal”, by Tião (Rotterdam); “Permanência”, by Lacca (Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano); “Sem coração” and “Muro”, by Tião (Cannes); “They return” (Rotterdam) and “Vigias”, by Lordello (BAFICI). In addition to the completion of “Paterno”, the producer already has resources for “Saturday Dead”, by Lacca; “Edificante”, by Lordello; and the TV series “Delegado”.
