In Ancient Africa, men from the enemy Efik and Efó tribes condemn princess Sikán for alleged betrayal by revealing humanity’s sacred secret. Sikán manages to escape and throws himself into the depths of the river, transforming himself into a fish, in order to protect the secret with his life. But every thousand years, Sikán is brought to the surface – where, vulnerable, she awakens the desire of a brotherhood of men to possess her and stay in power. So, five brave women, each with different missions, take charge of returning Sikán to the river, thus protecting his legacy and keeping the secret safe for his successor.
