O filho plantado

Fearing that she will spend her old age alone, Hilda decides to adopt the teenager Lia. Joca, Lia’s older brother, will soon turn 18 and will have to leave the shelter where he has lived with his sister since he was a boy. Lia tries to convince Hilda to adopt the two together, and the woman starts to live with her brothers. She feels intimidated by Joca’s presence, but ends up becoming fond of him. Even so, Hilda does not consider adopting a grown man, a black man. Lia resents the woman. Amid the troubled relationship between them, Joca feels time running against him and disappears. Hilda, who just wanted to save herself, needs to find Joca, but when the two see each other again it is to say goodbye for good.
