Fernando works in factories in the countryside of Japan and on some weekends he visits a dancer at a night club. But when his illegal business with another immigrant is discovered, Fernando is suddenly deported to Peru and, although he is in his home country, he feels like a foreigner. Fish Day, a festival celebrated in both countries, will make Fernando aware of his place in the world.
