Director and screenwriter
Dayse Porto is a Bahia-based director and screenwriter. She co-directed the fiction film Beleza da Noite (2022) with Cecília Amado, which aired on TV Globo, and directed the documentaries As Indígenas da Terra (2024) and the feature Catadoras (2025). She holds an MA from PUC-SP and a Screenwriting specialization from AICTV in Cuba, and is preparing her debut fiction feature, Café e Outras Pessoas.

An award-winning director and screenwriter, Aly Muritiba has screened films at Sundance, Venice, San Sebastián and Cannes. His feature Deserto Particular won the Audience Award in Venice’s Giornate degli Autori and was Brazil’s submission for the 2022 Academy Awards; A Fábrica was shortlisted. He has directed series including Irmandade, O Caso Evandro, Cangaço Novo and Cidade de Deus.
Producer
A partner at Muritiba Filmes, she has represented over 200 directors in the U.S. and managed the IDA Awards. She co-produced The Human Trial and worked on Making a Murderer. Specializing in Oscar campaigns, she worked on the short film Walk Run Cha-Cha, nominated in 2019, and the feature films Babenco, Deserto Particular, Quando Falta o Ar, Incompatível com a Vida, and the short films Mãri Hi, Ousmane, Alice, and Amarela, shortlisted in 2025.
