Expedito is released on parole and returns home to a small farm in the interior of Paraná. He intends to attend his son Gabriel’s birthday party, but is faced with a strange situation: hated by his father, Benedito, who recently became blind, is forced by his mother, Dalva, to stay hidden inside the house. The party approaches and the characters’ confinement progresses while a storm forces them to remain inside the house. On the day of the party, Benedito discovers Expedito’s presence and violently beats him with his belt; however, the boy Gabriel finds an old revolver and shoots Benedito. Horns blare at the gate, the guests arrive at the party, and now they need to hide the body, the revolver and the large blood stain on the kitchen floor.
