All they found of Marcelo was a boot foot after the work accident. Like any mother in this situation, Dulcinea would do anything to get her son back. And it does. He traps the rain in his boot with three shoelace knots, and Marcelo comes back… but he’s not the same anymore. When a drought threatens the neighborhood, Dulcinea unties the first knot on her boot to release some of the rain and take care of her son, but this begins her transformation into a fish.
