Baixada Fluminense, summer of 1994. Armando, a retired military officer, is experiencing a crisis in his marriage. After his retirement, he began to spend more time at home and, with his eldest daughters already raised, he ended up taking on, without any experience, the responsibility of educating his youngest daughter, Elisa, who is reluctant to her mother’s orders. Meanwhile, his neighborhood is going through a moment of great insecurity: the nearby hill is being dominated by drug traffickers. With violence growing on the streets, the family is increasingly confined to their own home and family crises intensify. Armando is unable to contain the course of events.
