ENBE

Enbe (23) is a young black and non-binary woman, undergoing therapy that doesn’t work because she feels guilty about the death of her ex-boyfriend. When she is expelled from her mother’s house, who does not accept her, Enbe seeks help on the internet and sees the invitation from the white transvestite Bianca (23) to live together in the capital of São Paulo as her chance for a fresh start. Living with the stranger proves to be a little paradise at first, in addition to opening doors to a world unknown to the young woman: she can finally live with other trans people. However, as time passes, Enbe begins to realize that this apparent dream is just the beginning of her worst nightmare, because while she fights against her paranoid anxiety manifested in the ghost of her ex, she finds herself in an imminent confrontation with Bianca, who tries to place her in a place of domestic subordination – partly because she is irredeemably racist and partly because she believes that Enbe is responsible for the death of her cousin and best friend, Iago, the young non-binary girl’s late boyfriend.
