Cecília is 16 years old, lives in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, but studies in Recife, at the school where her mother, Teresa, teaches Biology. The conflicts caused by this dual role of daughter and student – and, later, also that of spy – end up making the girl delve deeper into a universe much more interesting than her everyday life: cosplay.

Ponte Produtoras
Ponte Produtoras is an independent production company founded in 2015 in Recife by Dora Amorim, Thaís Vidal and Julia Machado. His films have been shown at important national and international festivals (Brasília, Rio, São Paulo, Critics’ Week, Chicago, Locarno). He recently produced the film Swinguerra, by Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca, which represented Brazil at the 58th Venice Biennale, and completed the filming of the feature film The Last Backyard, by Fellipe Fernandes.
