Ocean Films

Ocean Films is a Brazilian production company with over 20 years of experience. He has collaborated with several channels and platforms, including: Netflix, Globoplay, HBO, ESPN Brasil, TV Globo, Turner Broadcasting, RTP (Portugal), MTV (India), TV Cultura, Canal Brasil, among others. His first feature film, “Pequeno Segredo”, was selected to represent Brazil at the 2017 Oscars. His most recent productions are the doc-reality series “Por um respiro” (Globoplay) and the co-production of the fiction series “Temporada de Verão” (Netflix). The documentary series “Transamazônica – A road to the past” (HBO), won the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix for Best Documentary Series of 2022. The feature-length documentary film “Amazônia, a Nova Minamata?”, by Jorge Bodanzky, in co-production with Globo Filmes and Globo News and associated production by Video Filmes, had its premiere at Mostra de São Paulo in October 2022. Ocean has several releases planned for 2023, with 3 feature films and 2 series, in addition to 4 projects in production. Its operations in the production services segment position it as one of the most active companies in Brazil and South America.
