Leandra Leal has acted in 28 feature films, produced eight feature films and is the director of the film “Divinas Divas”, the most popular documentary in Brazil in 2017, which won awards at the SXSW (USA), Rio Festival, Aruanda Festival and Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro festivals. Leandra has received awards such as Fênix, Biarritz, APCA, Gramado, among others. She is the creator and director of the series “A Vida Pela Frente”, recently released on Globoplay, and is preparing her new documentary “Nada a Fazer”, which is currently being edited.

Bruno Safadi

Director/screenwriter/producer

Bruno Safadi is a director, screenwriter and producer known for his work in Brazilian independent cinema. His features include Meu Nome é Dindi, Belair, O Uivo da Gaita and Lilith, which have screened and received awards at major festivals.

He currently works as a director at Globo and is preparing the feature Antártida, the network’s next production.

Rita Toledo

Rita Toledo is a screenwriter, director and producer. She is one of the creators, head writer and lead writer of the Globoplay Original series A Vida Pela Frente, nominated for the ABRA and Grande Otelo awards. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from the AFI conservatory in Los Angeles, supported by a Fulbright CAPES scholarship. She is part of Berlinale Talents and rede de Talentos Paradiso.

Maria Barreto

Producer

Maria Barreto is a Rio de Janeiro-based producer. Her work includes the documentary Nada a Fazer, winner of a Special Jury Prize at Festival do rio in 2025, Fico te Devendo uma Carta Sobre o Brasil (Special Mention from the Jury at IDFA 2019), and the fiction series A Vida Pela Frente (Globoplay Original), nominated for a Grande Otelo award in 2024.

Carol Benjamin

Creator, screenwriter and editing director

Carol is the creator, screenwriter, and editing director of A Vida pela Frente (Globoplay). Her feature film Fico Te Devendo Uma Carta was awarded at IDFA and it’s All True. In 2024, she released Insubmissa (Rio de Janeiro international Film Festival, Panorama) and, in 2025, the short film Sobre Ruínas (Rio de Janeiro international Film Festival, it’s All True). She is the screenwriter of Divinas Divas.
