Jasmine is the imposing owner of a cult LGBTQ+ bar. One night, the establishment is invaded by a masked killer, who seeks to make her his first victim. When the tables turn and the attacker ends up dead, Jasmine gathers a group of trust that devises a plan to get rid of the body, but one that will require Jasmine to establish a union between the five bars on the street, something unprecedented. With new alliances made, Jasmine soon realizes that the threat has not gone away: other attacks make it clear that there are people interested in removing her, her bar and her audience from the region. “We open at 11pm” is a film that plays with the horror genre to bring the story of Jasmine and her chosen family: a group of LGBTQ+ people who will stop at nothing to protect their community, and resist those who try to frighten them.
