Casa da Praia

Founded in 2011 in Natal/RN, Casa da Praia makes films, having been the first producer in the state to have a film selected at the Cannes Festival, with the short “Sideral” (drama, 2021, co-production O sopro do tempo and Les Valseurs), being part of the official selection and competing for the Palme d’Or. Over the past decade, the company has been producing original projects such as the web series “Dalton/Hebe” (comedy, 2016 – Rio WebFest 2018), the short films “Ausência” (drama, 2015 – Festival Urbano Cine 2015), “Tingo Lingo” (documentary, 2018 – 5th Mostra de Gostoso Cinema, Best Photography at the 2nd Festival Cine Verão), “Vai Melhorar” (drama, 2020 – 31st Kinoforum Short: 10+ Audience Favorites and Canal Curta! Acquisition Award; Nominated for Best Fiction Short Film at the 20th Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix, 2021) and “A Edition do Nordeste” (documentary, estimate 2023) and the clips “Porcelain” (2017 – Nominated for Video Clip of the Year at the 15th Hangar Music Awards) and “Canto do Mar” (2021 – Music Video of the Year at the 19th Hangar Music Awards). He co-produced the feature film “Fendas” (science fiction, 2019 – 30th FID Marseille, 43rd São Paulo International Film Festival, 15th International Panorama Coisa de Cinema, Honorable Mention at the 6th Gostoso Film Festival) together with Aun Filmes/SP, Les Valseurs/França and O Sopro do Tempo/MG. He also works together with the Carmin Theater Group, producing Audiovisual Dramaturgy for the shows “Jacy” (2013), “Por Que Paris?” (2015) and “A Invenção do Nordeste” (2017 – Best Dramaturgy at the 31st Shell Awards).
