Graduated in Theater from UnB (2017) and in screenwriting from “Maestria en Guion” from EICTV, Cuba (2021). With the project of his first feature film, A ONÇA, he participated in the Icuman Lab and the Audience Design Workshop (Icuman/BRLab), the New Stories Laboratory (2022) and Brasil Cine Mundi, winning 03 awards, including the Official Jury Award. He is currently developing his second feature film, EU E O CÃO, and finishing AS MIÇANGAS, which he co-directs with Rafaela Camelo (winning project of the Cardume Curtas production call, 2022).

Bruno has won over 30 individual awards. His short films have garnered more than 100 international awards. In 2022, he received the Audience Award from the World Cinema Fund – Berlinale for the project The Jaguar and released his first feature film, A Espera de Liz. In 2023, he was a finalist for the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro in the categories of Best Original Screenplay and
Best First Feature Direction.
