Beatriz Seigner is the writer, director and producer of the feature film “Los Silencios” (Brazil, Colombia, France) shot in the border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru, premiered at La Quinzaine des Realizateurs in Cannes 2018, claimed by Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Screen International as one of the best films of the festival this year, winner of the Impact Award by Ai Weiwei at Stockholm Film Festival, the Best Director and Critics Prize at Brasilia Film Festival, Best Script and Special Jury Prize at Lima IFF, Best Artistic Contribution at NuevoCine Latinoamericano in Havana, Cuba, Spanish Cooperation Prize at San Sebastian IFF, UNESCO Honour Mention at Goa International Film Festival of India, among others.

She is also the writer-director, cinematographer and producer of the film Between Us, a Secret" codirected together with Toumani Kouyate about the traditional storytellers and conflict mediators of West Africa, being also the writer-director of the episode “Olga’s Family” that integrates the feature film Neighbours (2019) produced by the Cannes Palme D’Or winner, Chinese director Jia Zhang-Ke and directed by worldwide award winning talents from the BRICS countries and the writer, director and producer of the feature film “Bollywood Dream” the first Indian-Brazilian film co-production (Busan International Film Festival – Official Selection 2010, and São Paulo International Film Festival 2009 – nationally released on the cinema theaters in 2011), and of the short-films made at the Kinoforum labs “Uma Menina como outras Mil” (São Paulo Int. Short Film Festival 2001), “Roda Real” (São Paulo Int. Short Film Festival 2004) and “Indias” (2005).
