Screenwriter and playwright, he is also a professor at the Academia Internacional de Cinema and Belas Artes. He won awards at the Paulínia Festival and the Brazilian Film Festival in Miami for the screenplay for “Depois do Almoço” (2010), a short film shown at the Berlin Film Festival. He also wrote the short film “Lia e o Anjo” (2013) and the documentary Anhangabaú da Feliz-Cidade for the Quadrennial of Scenic Architecture in Prague, the year Brazil won the Triga de Ouro. In Germany, he completed an artistic residency at the ZK/U Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik and presented the video installation “People Like You Appear To be Multiplyin” at the Berlin Art Week. In the theater, he wrote and directed the plays “Josefina Canta”, “Quando Eu Era Bonita” and “Mão e Pescoço”.

Emmanuelle Déprats

Born in Paris, she graduated in Cultural Management from the University Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle. She has always worked with cinema and was responsible for audiovisual training and qualification projects, support programs for new talents and co-production platforms, such as the Paris Project. Between 2013 and 2016, she worked at the French National Film Agency, the CNC, where she coordinated the international fund Aide aux Cinémas du Monde and launched the international distribution program ACM Distribution. She has lived in Rio de Janeiro for three years and works as a curator, translator and consultant.

Erick González

Director of Australab, a platform that, among other initiatives, includes 3 Puertos Cine, in addition to developing actions to reflect on the circulation of independent cinema, such as the Industry Academy Chile-Locarno. For seven years, he was the programming director of the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival and a member of the selection committee of Cine en Construcción for the Toulouse and San Sebastián editions. He was also a programmer at FIC-Valdivia and, in addition, is a project delegate at the Center for Cinema and Creation, a space for promoting independent cinema in Chile.

Fábio Leal

Director, screenwriter, actor and casting director. He has been the curator of Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife since 2013. Between 2013 and 2016 he was the Communications Coordinator at Vitrine Filmes. He directed the short films “O Porteiro do Dia” (2016) and “Reforma” (2018), which premiered at the 51st Brasília Film Festival, where he received the awards for Best Actor and Best Screenplay, in addition to 12 other festival awards. He is currently writing the script for the feature films “Cosplay”, with which he participated in the 9th edition of BrLab, and “O Vale dos Homossexuais”, selected for Brasil CineMundi in 2020.

Felipe Lopes

Trained in Cinema by the Fluminense Federal University and specialized in Business Management and Marketing by ESPM, Felipe Lopes has been in the audiovisual market for more than ten years, working in the areas of production, distribution, festivals and public management. In May 2019, he assumed the direction of Vitrine Filmes and has since then released films such as Bacurau (2019), by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, A Vida Invisível (2019), by Karim Aïnouz, and The Lighthouse (2019), by Robert Eggers. In October 2020, he will be at the side of Silvia Cruz, partner of Vitrine Filmes.

Fernanda de Capua

Fernanda De Capua created and directed the sitcom Insustentáveis, wrote the screenplays for the series A História Delas and Turma da Mônica – Origens, and the feature films A Suspeita and Virtuosas. She was a consultant for the scripts for Saudade Fez Morada Aqui Dentro, Gabriel e a Montanha, and for more than 20 projects in the Prodav 04 labs. Among her achievements as a producer, the films Sonhos de Peixe, Casa Grande and Quem Matou Eloá stand out.

Flavia Candida

Flavia Candida is a curator, filmmaker, and producer who graduated from the Cinema course at UFF (Federal Fluminense University), where she directed the short film O Metro Quadrado, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 35th Brasília Film Festival.

She began as a programmer in the late 1990s at Cine Arte UFF and coordinated the Brazilian University Film Festival for over 15 years.

She collaborates in the curation of festivals such as the Rio Film Festival, Vitória Film Festival, Brasília Film Festival, Zózimo Bulbul Black Cinema Meeting, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, and Mate Com Angu Festival. She also curated the Cabíria Festival Mulheres & Audiovisual and FIMCine 23, both dedicated to female protagonism.

She has produced exhibitions such as Arte da África Cinema and Pequenas Histórias da Vanguarda – Downtown New York. She selects projects for labs such as BrLab, ICUMAM Lab, and the Curta Cinema Project Lab, and was a tutor at Roteiros do Arrabalde. She was on the selection committee for the Göteborg Film Fund 2021.

Gabriel Martins

Born in Belo Horizonte and living in the outskirts of Contagem, he graduated from the Escola Livre de Cinema/BH and in Social Communication with a degree in Cinema and Video, in 2010, from the UNA University Center. He is a founding partner of the production company Filmes de Plástico, together with André Novais Oliveira, Maurílio Martins and Thiago Macêdo Correia. Among his main works as a director are the short films “Rapsódia para o Homem Negro”, “NADA” and the feature film “No Coração do Mundo” (co-directed by Maurilio Martins).

Iana Cossoy Paro

Screenwriter, professor, and consultant. Director of the Master’s program and residency in Screenwriting at EICTV. She co-wrote the screenplay for Eneida (2022) with Heloisa Passos and Tina Hardy, Três Verões (2019) with Sandra Kogut, Eu Te Levo (2017) with Marcelo Muller, among others. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Media and Processes from ECA-USP and is a consultant and lecturer in various laboratories and schools throughout Latin America.

Luana Melgaço

A native of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Luana graduated in Social Communications from UFMG. In her professional career, she has produced more than twenty films as a producer and executive producer, working from the project development phase through to its release. She is a partner at Anavilhana and was a member of Teia. The films she has produced, four of which were international co-productions, have been shown and awarded at the most important film festivals in Brazil and around the world, in addition to having been commercially released in several countries. In addition to producing, Luana teaches workshops, participates in seminars, laboratories, consults and collaborates on several Brazilian and international projects. She is currently in the process of producing “Canção ao Longe”, “Ossos da Saudade” and “Campo Santo”.

Marina Tarabay

She is a distributor, communicator, and researcher. She graduated in Social Communication from ESPM and holds a postgraduate degree in Journalism from Cásper Líbero. She has a master’s degree from Facom/UFBA with research on audiovisual reception, studying the audience of streaming platforms. She has worked for companies such as Vitrine Filmes and Elo Studios. She founded Fistaile, a distribution and audience design company. She has worked on projects funded by RioFilme, Spcine, MinC, and Göteborg Film Fund grants. She has attended training and market spaces such as Torino Film Lab NEXT Audience Design, Berlinale Talents Rio Audience Design, Locarno Industry Academy, Seminario Públicos y Audiencias del Futuro (Ficunam), Open Doors Locarno, and EFM Toolbox Programmes (Berlinale). She was part of the BrLab team, as a member of the selection committee and audience design consultant. She is associated with ANDAI (National Association of Independent Audiovisual Distributors).

Paula Astorga

An international consultant for audiovisual projects in development and exhibition, she received the title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government in 2012 for her work in audiovisual culture. Her recent productions include Trigal (Dir. Anabel Caso, 2022) and the documentary Me niego rotundamente (Dir. Nina Wara Carrasco, 2025). She is the director and founder of the Audiences of the Future Seminar and the Circo 2.12 Documentation Center.

Rafael Sampaio

Director of BrLab, producer, curator and founding partner of the production company Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual. He has worked as a programmer in cultural spaces such as MIS-SP, Cinemateca Brasileira and Cine Olido, in addition to having produced and programmed numerous exhibitions and festivals. He works as a coordinator of courses and training platforms, such as the Prodav 04 Project Development Laboratories for ANCINE/FSA, in addition to BrLab, which he created and has directed since 2011. Through Klaxon, he produced and co-produced the films Sobre Rodas (2017), by Mauro D’Addio; Diz a Ela que me Viu Chorar (2019), by Maíra Bühler; and co-produced the films Contactado (2020), by Marité Ugás; Fiebre (2022), by Elisa Eliash, Zafari (2024), by Mariana Rondón, among others.
