BrLab CoPro is a new category of BrLab, dedicated to promoting meetings between carefully selected professionals seeking to establish international co-productions, circulation, and financing of Latin American feature film projects.

Between July 1 and July 20, 2021, Latin American fiction feature film projects, with a minimum of 30% of funds already raised and following the regulations, were able to apply to participate in BrLab CoPro.

The 1st edition of BrLab CoPro will take place from October 18 to 22, 2021, with its entire program online – as a safety measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this moment, we are in the selection period for the projects and contacting players that will participate in BrLab CoPro.

Up to 13 (thirteen) projects will be selected and will have the opportunity to participate in carefully organized business meetings to promote strategic alliances with potential co-producers, channels, distributors, festivals, and funds from various locations around the world, and also to participate in preparatory training activities.

In addition, part of the program will be open to the public and promoted in partnership with Show me the Fund, a project co-organized by Brazilian Content, Cinema do Brasil and ProjetoParadiso that brings audiovisual professionals closer to international funds.

The participating Brazilian fiction projects will also compete for the $1,000.00 (one thousand dollars) stimulus offered by Projeto Paradiso, to be used to cover expenses related to the development, financing, and internationalization of the project.

The first edition of BrLab CoPro is a realization of Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual in partnership with Brazilian Content, Cinema do Brasil, and Projeto Paradiso, and with the support of the Embassy of France in Brazil.
