Xoxa’s Show is the country’s most popular TV program, hosted by Xoxa, a travesti and a symbol of mainstream success. The show puts Black travestis known as As Perseguidas (The Prosecuted) through humiliations and violent challenges disguised as entertainment. When members of the crew begin to die, the line between spectacle and extermination starts to blur. Xoxa watches her empire collapse through cancellations, deaths, and the breakdown of her public image in the face of the monster she helped create.
Produtora No Hype
Produtora No Hype is a Macaé based production and distribution company founded by filmmaker Rastricinha Dorneles. The company won the Sesc Pulsar ARRJ 24/205 call to produce its first short, Parla Italiano (2025), directed by Rastricinha and Caim.

Director and screenwriter
Rastricinha Dorneles directed #gaypride (2018), the documentary Erê, Criança do Axé (2023) and the short SOS (2025). She co-directed Parla Italiano (2025) and also served as producer and screenwriter. The film won the 7th Mostra Adélia Sampaio and received awards at FloripaQueHorror and Sertão do Pajeú. Dorneles is also directing the animation A Lua e A Tempestade, with Fernanda Chazan.

Hilda Lopes Pontes holds an MA in Performing Arts from UFBA. They are a director and screenwriter and a founding partner of Olho de Vidro Produções. Between 2017 and 2024, they wrote and or directed ten short films, with more than 200 selections and 20 awards. They created the Mostra Lugar de Mulher é no Cinema, the Nosso Cinema project and LABQUEER, an LGBTQIAPN+ screenwriting lab.
