BrLab Features

BrLab Features is BrLab’s traditional workshop for the development of feature-length narrative (fiction) film projects. It has been held for 15 years and it is aimed at projects from Latin America, Portugal, and Spain, which are selected through an open submissions process.

Each year, the projects receive consultations from national and international speakers and guests who participate in the content and business meetings that make up the intense program of the lab.

During BrLab Features, the producers, directors, and screenwriters that represent the twelve selected projects receive comprehensive consultations on fundamental pillars for a better realization of their films: screenwriting, direction, production, and distribution.

BrLab Features has accumulated successful cases of feature films released in Brazil and abroad, and in recent years, has consolidated itself as an international reference space.
