Graça dreams of throwing a debutante ball for her daughter Cláudia, despite the financial problems she faces. She is a public school teacher, raises her daughter alone, and has accumulated debts over the years. The unfair pay, precarious working conditions and everyday pressures mean she doesn’t realize what’s happening to her daughter: Cláudia is pregnant. Without the courage to open up to her mother, and with the help of her boyfriend, she plans a robbery at her own house in order to obtain money for an abortion. But the project doesn’t go as planned.

began its activities in June 2000 and since then has been involved in the creation and production of audiovisual content for the web, TV, cinema and streaming platforms. In fiction, “Meio Irmão”, by Eliane Coster, stands out, voted Best Brazilian Fiction Film and ABRACCINE Award for Best Brazilian Film by a First-Time Director at the 42nd São Paulo International Film Festival. His most recent production is the documentary series Vou Viver de HQ for Globoplay.
PERISCÓPIO FILMES co-produced the short films: Amassa que Elas Likem, 1996, by Fernando Coster; Preciosa, 2009 and Super OldBoy, 2015, by Eliane Coster, exhibited and awarded at national and international festivals. Co produced the feature Meio Irmão, by Eliane Coster, released in 2020 and awarded at the 42nd São Paulo International Film Festival. Developed the script for Feature Films, Meio Irmão, Development Notice from the Municipal Department of Culture of SP, and A Caverna, PROAC for script development.
