Gaspar (70), ex-convict, bald, witnesses the death of an old elephant. Without thinking, he goes in search of his brother, admitted to an asylum. Together they return to the village where they were born, but upon arrival they learn of the death of their third brother. Distressed, between the urge to leave and the desire to stay, they decide to postpone their departure. The clashes with the past and the tasks in which they are involved awaken this desire that they carry within them.
