In 2013, the Military Police of the Federal District launched a major operation to combat drug trafficking in Ceilândia, on the outskirts of Brasília, dismantling several small illegal trade networks. Sixteen men were arrested. A year later, these men’s partners took over the business. They quickly establish their own space for action, imposing new codes, reorganizing modes of production and creating new work relationships. Their dispute for economic, symbolic and territorial power slowly turns into a war. They demand space for the peripheral female body and their own codes of action. They are the map of new territory.
