Diogo and Aline are having a troubled and difficult marriage ending. There is no harmony between the two, just lack of communication and fights. In the midst of this, Diogo receives the news that his brother was killed because of an old family feud in the countryside. He leaves with Aline for his city to bury his brother and face old fears represented in the figures of his family. Diogo returns to his origins and receives the task of avenging his brother from his mother. Little by little, Aline and Diogo resume their complicity, which is reborn in another form.
