Two deaf half-brothers from Sierra Otomí Tepehua live as a couple on the outskirts of Mexico City. Sexual tension and religious guilt keep them trapped in unconsummated incest. Nada is a cleaning lady at a luxury gym. Ave does the same in a clandestine gay sex club. Since she becomes a Jehovah’s Witness and becomes obsessed with the verses of the Song of Songs, the couple’s spiritual and erotic life is disrupted in an unusual way until it leads them to a tragedy of biblical dimensions.
