Synopsis

Elísio Pitta is an experienced black dancer who is rehearsing his return to the stages with a dance performance, inspired by the classic Othelo, the moor of Venice, by William Shakespeare. His inspiration to create this character comes from the mythology of the Orixás (Afro-brazilian gods). Othello would have the characteristics of Xangô: a fighter Orixá that controls fire and thunders. Pitta's routine will completely change when a strange event begins to drive people away from his community, Morro da Sereia in Salvador, leaving him alone. He will need all his weapons to face the enemy that surrounds. Tech Specs - Stage of production: Development Estimated lenght: 90′ Shooting format: HD Screening format: HD/DCP
