Synopsis
Lucas opens his eyes on the bus. He's travelling to visit his sister Catalina in Chiloé, a remote island in the south of Chile. In a couple of weeks he will be leaving the country, and the moment to say goodbye has arrived. A truck picks Lucas up along the road. Antonio is driving, a young fisherman who travels accompanied by his grandma. With the wild landscape and winter as a scenery, a romance begins to take shape between Lucas and Antonio, something that forces them to face reality and to break away from loneliness, learning to trust their families and beloved ones. San Cristóbal tells the story of these two young men, who define their independence and adulthood, in an environment that is placed between tradition and modernity.
