Synopsis

Sahar is a young Iranian woman doomed to isolation by her conservative family when they discovered she was having an affair. After being punished physically, Sahar escapes from Iran and fleas to São Paulo, where she has to restart her life in a completely different society. In Brazil, Sahar will find love, freedom, and new forms of sexism and oppression.
