Diogo and Aline are going through a difficult time, at the end of their marriage. There is no harmony between them, only lack of communication and fights. Meanwhile, Diogo has heard that his brother has been killed because of an old family feud in the countryside. He and Aline go to his hometown to bury his brotherfuneral and encounter old fears in the faces of his family. Diogo returns to his origins and his mother gives him the task of avenging his brother. Gradually, Aline and Diogo's relationship is reborn in something new.
