João decides to return to the town where his parents met upon finding out that his mother left a son behind when she fled her first marriage. When he arrives at the old town he discovers it no longer exists, as it's been flooded during the construction of a damand is now submerged under its waters. After searching for a while through the town to where the residents were relocated, he finally finds his brother. Even though João does not reveal what exactly unites them, little by little they start growing closer.
