Synopsis

After a break-up, María – a somewhat overweight and lovelorn woman – moves into a cold apartment filled with unpacked boxes. There, binge-eating and with no grace, she deals with the small everyday conflicts of solitude, like spending all day in her pajamas and surviving Sundays. Maria finds chance for a new beginning after a one night stand with Enzo, a waiter with delusions of being a writer, through whom she meets Alejo, an employee who is trying to star in a play. The three of them enter a confusing love triangle that brings out their fears of not knowing if they will ever manage to be who they dreamed to when they were younger. Yellow Sunglasses is a tragicomic look at the end of youth and the beginning of adult life, with a monotonous Andean city as its background
