1900, Nxiamu a blind vampire, son of slaves, wanders through the hinterlands of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in search of fragile bodies to feed upon, helped by Manco, a servant who he had adopted as a child. After they meet and kidnap a young woman who’s eager to become a vampire herself Nxiamu must decide whether to continue his painful existence or give up his immortality, embracing the end of his journey.
