Synopsis

Romero Frendsthal, an indigenous young man with a German last name, lives in an indigenous village in the Guatemalan highlands, drives a motorcycle taxi and is frequently extorted by gangs. Having had enough, he runs away to the city, where he finds a job as a security guard of a small, seedy commercial center. There he meets Nubia, a travesty with whom he immediately develops a close relationship, thanks to their passion for video games. Then, in a homophobia and racism-fueled fight, Romero is shot and dies. Nubia assumes the role of his widow and decides to take his body back to his home village. Deep in the mountains and amidst the fog, two worlds will clash.
