Synopsis

In a remote Paraguayan village on the border with Brazil, on the verge of disappearing due to agrochemical soy spraying, Leonardo tries to convince his grandmother Teodolina to sell the house and emigrate to Argentina in search of opportunities. But she is not willing to leave her farm, her culture and her dead husband's grave. She is also the last midwife and healer in the almost empty village. Leonardo must make a difficult and painful decision: stay in a place where he sees no future, or leave his grandmother to pursue his dreams.
