Julio is based on the last years of Julio Jaramillo, the most popular singer in the history of Ecuador. It is a story about music and creation, about an artist trying to win back the love of his people, a man who is suddenly forced to look within himself in order to thrive one last time. It is the intimate comeback story of a popular idol, both handsome and imperfect.
