Synopsis
VHS Heads is a mockumentary in comedic tone about a group of Bolivian movie buffs who are in love with VHS tapes and their movies, at a time when VHS is about to become extinct. Kowalski, the leader, is a VCR and television repair technician. He joins his client Cooper and college student McFly in creating the “Cassette or Videotape” movement, a politicaland cultural movement aimed at bringing back the distribution and audiovisual consumption of the VHS format. Along with others lovers of magnetic tapes, they pause and rewind their conflicts and achievements. These events seem to threaten a group of DVD pirates, who will do everything in their power to eliminate them.
