Asunción, 2001. Two women have lived together for more than three decades. Enjoying a good social position, they have inherited enough money to live without worrying about having to work. But now, when both of them are more than sixty years old, this heritage is all gone. With time and in the middle of a difficult economic situation, the relationship between the couple has been outworn and has become a sequence of long silences. Everything gets even more complicated when one of them has to go to jail because of the debts she has contracted in order to maintain their life standards. This separation changes the imaginary balance in which they used to live and forces them to transform a world which until now had remained still.
