Synopsis
The mysterious murder of a company foreman, known for chasing peasants away from their land, takes a humanist lawyer to Vale do Jequitinhonha to defend the accused. The process ultimately uncovers a host of popular beliefs and past traumas that challenge the lawyer's convictions and ideologies.
