Synopsis
Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Nino, 12, is assaulted for being homosexual. To protect him, his father takes a job as caretaker of a ranch at a mountain area, and the whole family moves there. The afternoons are long. Nino feels guilty about everything that has happened and his imminent Confirmation makes him anxious. In this rural, religious and superstitious environment, Nino discovers the legend of Almamula, a mountain-dwelling creature who takes those who have committed impure sexual acts. Nino feels like an easy prey for the beast and will do everything to attract her and go away with her. Unaware that the mountain hides something much worse than any legend could tell.
