Mykaela Plotkin

Film director, graduated in Creation Documentary from Observatorio de Cine in Buenos Aires, where she also studied screenwriting, editing and direction of actors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication/Journalism from UFPE. She is working on her first fiction feature film, Senhoritas, funded by Funcultura/FSA and Ibermedia, in co-production with Mexico. Meanwhile, she is also developing the fiction film script Luz, the documentary Plot: a raiz do meu sobrenome, and distributing the documentary Sotaque do olhar. For television, she directed the documentary series Patrimônio vivo: na estrada do sempre, broadcast on Rede Globo, and the program Leituras: histórias da literatura Angolana, broadcast on Angolan Public TV (TPA).
