Screenwriter, film director and producer, he studied at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. His short film Los Anfitriones won the 3rd Cinéfondation Award at the Cannes Film Festival. His debut film, Todos somos marineros, premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2019. He is currently working on his second feature film, El Día del Pez.
