Juan Sebastian Torales

Born in 1982 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, he studied film in the city of Córdoba, where he later worked as full professor of the Film Editing discipline. In 2008, his short film La Croix, selected for the Festival de Mar del Plata, was censored in Córdoba, leading him to relocate to Argentina and France. Since 2013 he has edited more than 30 French TV documentaries, the most recent directed by former French Culture Minister Fréderic Mitterrand. In preparation for his first feature film project, in 2019 he directed Sacha, awarded at his hometown film festival. Almamula is his first fiction feature film project.
